I am so sorry for not posting yesterday. But I needed wifi and I didn’t have wifi.

For of all sad words of tongue or pen, The saddest are these: “It might of been!”

This comes from the poem Maud Muller by John Greenleaf Whittier.

This is very true. I have a problem of looking back at the past and wondering if I hadn’t done this or that. Something would have or wouldn’t have happened.

Think about it, when you read a book and the main character comes to a hard choice or makes a wrong decision. Don’t you feel really awful for them? Especially if you’ve read the book before. You wanna say “Don’t!! Take the other path!! Your going to ruin your life!” Now this doesn’t apply to all stories. These are some of the exceptions

  • It ends in a {really} happy ending, where the mistake was one of the “trials” the character has to go through
  • You don’t connect with the story or characters
  • Etc…

But sometimes our lives are like that. We look back and ask why. You can have a dream about it and during the dream your watching yourself make that bad decision all over again and your screaming at yourself, not do it.

Please tell me about a story, where you feel upset every time you get to the part where the character makes that bad decision.

My Nominees;

Until Next Time,
