Cool prompt, My entry:
She gazed out toward the salty sea, but like every day since that night there is only clear waters and damp mist. Why did he leave, why did he have to take a place on that horrid ship? “They aren’t coming back” the harbor master had said, but that can’t be true. He can’t be gone he made a promise. He made a promise but now it is broken, because he isn’t coming back.
